The parents of our scholarship recipients are grateful that their children have the opportunity to attend excellent schools through the support of REAP. In return, they have committed to giving back to the community by volunteering to work on our farm once a week.

As they head back to school, they want to extend their heartfelt thanks to REAP for the support they've received. To show their appreciation, they are giving back to the community by contributing to the upkeep of the REAP farm. ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒŸ

Collaboration with Rwamagana District

This past Wednesday, the partners of Rwamagana District, including REAP, convened to develop a comprehensive joint action plan for the upcoming year. This collaborative effort aligned with the Rwanda government's annual performance goals, ensuring that our initiatives are in step with the nationโ€™s strategic priorities.

Talent Development Initiative

Our traditional dance group had the honor of performing at Umuganura, a Rwandan celebration of the harvest. This annual event, held on the first Friday of August, was celebrated at the district level in the Musha Sector. We were thrilled to share our culture and joy with the community during this special occasion.

REAP's Achievements Celebration

In honor of our Executive Director's leadership we celebrated REAP's achievements at our community center with the attendance of the Vice Mayor of the district, Musha Sector Executive Secretary and about 500 community members.

End of the second semester in our Early Childhood Development program

Today marks the end of the second semester for the young learners in our Early Childhood program, and it's a moment for celebration. Parents were impressed by the remarkable progress their children have made across various crucial domains. From fostering physical fitness, practicing healthy nutrition, to nurturing social-emotional connections, cognitive abilities, and language skills, our collective efforts have borne fruit.

International Women's Day

Friday, March 8th was International Women's Day and March is Women's History month. The children in our mobile library program are celebrating by supporting the women in their community. After a reading session they helped an elderly woman with a disability with her housework.
