REAP has launched the *Byikorere* Campaign (“Do it yourself”) in Musha!

REAP trained 156 local leaders and donated free smartphones to all of them. Leaders are now ready to:

✨ Guide neighbors in using Irembo services (certificates, health insurance, payments)

✨ Support Ejo Heza savings & health insurance contributions

✨ Promote awareness & prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV)

Each leader will help their neighbors access at online services, bringing technology, safety, and empowerment closer to every household.

Girls Empowerment and Leadership

This Saturday, our GLOW (Girls Lead Our World) group concluded the session on "Why We Engage with Our Community – Art for Change." The girls explored how to achieve their goals through community engagement using art. They created powerful art pieces—including traditional dance, skits, and drawings—to express their ideas and inspire others to understand and support their message.

Ineza Vocational Training Center

Our sponsor, Kigali Cosmopolitan Rotary Club, visited the project they support,benefiting 54 girls and boys who are learning tailoring skills. These skills will help them create their own jobs or gain employment in garment factories after the training. In addition to vocational training, they also receive mental health support from a professional psychologist, as many of them come from vulnerable families.

During this summer holiday, our beneficiaries at Ineza Football Academy are excited to participate in national competitions, where the top teams will have the opportunity to be selected for professional academies and second division clubs.

Commemoration Week

On April 7th each year, Rwanda commemorates the Genocide against the Tutsi. This year, the commemoration week concluded on April 13th, with the main event in Rwamagana District held in Musha Sector. REAP participated to stand in solidarity with Rwandans during this difficult time and to honor the millions of victims who lost their lives. Never Again

Vocational Training Center

📣 We recently held a parent session with the parents of our VTC girls, focusing on family conflict — particularly conflicts between spouses. Many of the girls in our program are directly affected by these challenges at home.

During the session, parents opened up about how difficult it can be to talk about the struggles they are facing in their families. Creating these safe spaces for open dialogue is an important step towards healthier homes and brighter futures for their children. 💛

Our traditional dance group, "Urwererane," participated in this week's district competition for traditional dances, competing against schools from all over Rwamagana. We are thrilled to announce that REAP has been awarded a Rotary grant to establish a Vocational Training Center (VTC) focused on sewing skills!

This program will empower girls in our community by equipping them with valuable skills to create sustainable livelihoods, boost their self-reliance, and support their families.
